Despite the multifaceted functions of the music streaming tool JQBX, which allows sharing songs from your own Spotify library in self-created rooms, I encounter a problem while using it: I am unable to share my music with others via the platform. Despite inviting friends into rooms I've created, playing and therefore sharing my songs remains unsuccessful. This situation is problematic since sharing music forms a substantial part of the platform, hence I am unable to use the tool in its full function. The possibility of interacting with other users and music lovers is thereby denied to me. Despite its potential, it turns the platform into a passive music experience for me, instead of enabling an active, communal music experience.
I cannot share my music with others on JQBX.
To enable the sharing of music via the JQBX platform, users should ensure that they have a Spotify Premium account, as this is needed for the synchronization of music. They should also ensure that all participating friends also use Spotify Premium. If necessary, the Spotify app should be open on the device and connected to JQBX. Problems can also occur if the device or application is not updated to the latest version. If difficulties persist, it can also be helpful to contact JQBX customer service to find a solution.
How it works
- 1. Access the JQBX.fm website
- 2. Connect with Spotify
- 3. Create or join a room
- 4. Start sharing music
